SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the high quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of read more infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services point established for intervention ordeals a substantial influx website of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all shoppers and enhance access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
